INA Singapore 7th anniversary. The New Norm @ Zoom (RSVP for details)

“The New Normal: Adapting to Change and Developing Resilience”

The pandemic which is no respecter of gender, country, age, status or wealth is affecting millions, even billions of lives. Some responses:

“The whole situation seems so unreal.”

“I’m already working from home.”

“This experience will force us to reassess our day to day definition of “essentials”.

“Since it is what it is, use this time to do things that we normally don’t have time to do.”

“Many people are affected and small businesses are struggling to get by in spite of some government support.”

“This period has become a time for more introspection and reflection, a more natural process for introverts like me.”

What is your response? How are you adapting to change and disruption?

Talk Synopses

Talk #1: “Beat That Fear” by Ruth Zannis, Learning Engineer (Taiwan)

Synopsis: In the current epidemic and economic climate, where many of us have had to pivot our business strategy just to stay afloat, often times this means more intense online social media presence. How do we as introverts beat that fear of visibility? Bring paper and thick coloured pens as we explore exactly how.

Talk #2: “I Can Do It” by Josephine Teo, Faculty Instructor Coach at INSEAD (Singapore)

While many of us have heard the “change is constant” phrase, we probably have not imagined how intense such a change is in this COVID-19 environment. This environment has impacted our personal and professional lives on many realms. How can we navigate through this highly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment and still manage in a present and future we can never imagine? In this short session, we will be looking at why we need to constantly be adjusting and adapting to externalities, and how we can do that in a way to maintain equilibrium and achieve excellence.
